BURONGA – NSW

Heading towards Mildura we decided to stay in Buronga at the Caravan Park which is located opposite the Mildura Wharf on the NSW side of the Murray River.

We had no idea of how big this park was going to be and glad that we booked the morning before arriving. It’s a very popular park with 140 powered sites, camping areas and cabins.

A word of advice. If you have not been here before it would pay you to go for a walk to see where your site is. We found the map a little confusing and we have seen quite a few people come in and drive around in circles having no idea where their site is.

We have loved our stay here and really enjoy being able to walk to the river and watch the paddle steamer and house boats cruise along the Murray River. Even more so sitting by the mighty Murray each evening with a drink in hand relaxing and watching the passing parade.

This has been another stay where we have had to book another couple of nights because we have found so much to see and do in and around the area.
